What is Endolift?

Endolift® (by eufoton) is a minimally invasive laser-based technology that promotes skin tightening and reduction in skin laxity, through activating neo-collagenesis and metabolic functions in the extracellular matrix.

In other words, by stimulating collagen production, Endolift promotes the toning, firming and, markedly, the remodelling of the skin.

Endolift is a pain-free cosmetic procedure that is the result of extensive research and advanced technological solutions aimed at reaping ’surgical’ results, without invasive surgical mechanisms. As a result, recovery and cost are substantially lower, while surgery-related complications are completely avoided. Our Clinical Director, Dr. Ali Ghanem, is an expert acting as Key Opinion Leader for Endolift.

What does Endolift do?

Endolift is used as an alternative non-surgical, minimally invasive facelift procedure to remodel deep and superficial layers of skin and restore youthful features. As a highly advanced laser-based technology, requiring little to no downtime, using Endolift allows our cosmetic surgeons to tighten skin, remove excess fat and remodels deep layers of skin, when targeting the following areas:

  • Jawline;
  • Cheeks;
  • Mouth region;
  • Reduction of fatty deposits in the jawline and chin (also known as ‘double chin’).
  • Reduction of fatty deposits and fluids in the Malar mounds (also known as Malar bags or Festoons).
  • Skin laxity of the lower eyelids;
  • Sagging of the lower face, around the mouth and mouth-to-chin lines;
  • Drooping and skin laxity related issues in the neck, also known as ‘turkey neck’;
  • Other areas of the body including:
  • Gluteus
  • Knees
  • Inner thighs
  • Ankles
  • The Periumbilical area (the abdominal region of the belly button)

The Rae Factor

To achieve optimal results from all the treatments performed at The Rae Clinic, our doctors combine the latest innovations in medicine. For example, we can include treatments whereby healing components from your own body are reintroduced to the area treated with Endolift to further stimulate the natural healing response.

Endolift Cost

Endolift treatment is priced by area. Price for 1 area is £2,200, 2 areas are £3,300 and 3 areas are £4,400. During your consultation, our surgeon will advise you on the number of targeted areas and circumference required to achieve your desired results.

Endolift Procedure

We perform the Endolift endo-tissutale (interstitial) technology procedure using a single-use laser optical micro-fibre (thin as a hair, 200-300 microns) inserted directly under the superficial hypodermis, requiring neither incisions nor scarring cuts.

The Endolift laser fibre (1470nm Diode Laser) slides smoothly in and around the circumventing targeted skin layers. Its laser wavelength is specifically designed to effectively target loose skin, a capacity attributed to the laser beam’s interaction with water and fat.

After your procedure, you might notice visible results immediately. However, optimal visibility is usually achieved overtime and 3 to 6 months after the procedure, due to the collagen remodelling phase.

Endolift vs. Ultherapy

Ultherapy is a non-invasive treatment that uses micro-focused ultrasound with visualisation (MFU-V) energy to target the deep layers of the skin and stimulate the production of natural collagen to lift and sculpt the face, neck and décolletage. Endolift is a laser-based technology that can treat almost all areas of the face and body, while ultherapy is only truly effective when applied to the face, neck, and decolletage. Furthermore, while endolift results are expected to last between 3-5 years, results using Ultherapy usually last around 12 months.

Endolift vs. Facetite

The FaceTite is a mini-invasive cosmetic treatment that utilises the power of radio-frequency (RF) energy to tighten the skin and reduce small pockets of fat in the face and neck. The procedure is carried out through a probe inserted via small incisions and requires local anaesthesia. When compared to the Endolift treatment which does not require any incisions or anaesthesia, FaceTite involves longer downtime and cannot be used to treat the variety of areas Endolift does (Malar bags for example). However we did find FaceTite delivers superior results when treating the jawline.

How long does Endolift last?

Results are not only immediate and long-term, but continue to improve for several months following the procedure, as additional collagen builds in the deep layers of the skin. Results are expected to last between 2 to 3 years, and the procedure can be repeated after 1 year.

Who would benefit from Endolift?

This procedure is ideal for patients in their mid-30s to early 50s, who have mild to moderate skin laxity. During a consultation with our surgeon, you will discuss your skin laxity concerns and whether Endolift is the best treatment option for you.

If you are pregnant or currently breastfeeding you will not be suitable for treatment and will need to await the period of weaning your child, before we can embark on a treatment plan.

As there is no recovery time required, it is possible to return to normal activities within a few hours.

How long is recovery after Endolift?

The procedure requires no recovery time, it is possible to return to normal activities within a few hours.

How many treatments does Endolift require?

The procedure requires one treatment session but can be repeated once more in the duration of a year depending on the patient’s specific needs.

Do I need to prepare for Endolift?

Since the procedure requires neither anaesthesia nor incisions or sutures, patients are not required to follow any regimen prior to treatment.

Can I get Endolift on my legs?

As mentioned, different parts of the leg including the Gluteus, Knees, Inner thighs, Ankles are all areas of the body which can benefit from the Endolift treatment.

What are the side effects of Endolift?

Endolift involves minimal to no downtime and it does not have the pain or recovery time that is associated with surgical procedures. Patients can expect some swelling after treatment, usually resolved within hours post-treatment.
