What is Endolift?

Endolift® (by eufoton) is a minimally invasive laser-based technology that promotes skin tightening and reduction in skin laxity, with a scar and knife free procedure. To put it in other words, by stimulating collagen production, among other things, Endolift promotes the toning, firming and, markedly, the remodelling of the skin.

Endolift is sometimes referred to as the “lunchtime lift” because it is a relatively quick procedure that requires no downtime with immediate visible results that enhance over time.

Endolift is a pain-free procedure that is the result of extensive research and advanced technological solutions aimed at reaping ’facelift’ results, without invasive surgical mechanisms. As a result, recovery and cost are substantially lower, while surgery-related complications are completely avoided. Our Clinical Director, Dr. Ali Ghanem, is an expert acting as Key Opinion Leader for Endolift.

The Rae Factor

To achieve optimal results from all the treatments performed at The Rae Clinic, our doctors combine the latest innovations in medicine. For example, we can include treatments whereby healing components from your own body are reintroduced to the area treated with Endolift to further stimulate the natural healing response.

How does it work?

We preform the Endolift® technology treatment by using a single-use laser optical micro-fibre (thin as a hair, 200-300 microns) inserted directly under the skin, requiring no incisions or scarring cuts.

The Endolift Laser fibre (1470nm Diode Laser) will smoothly slide inside the inner part of the skin, around the targeted loosen skin. This specific laser wavelength can effectively target loose skin and fat.

After the treatment, you might notice visible results immediately. However, optimal visibility is usually achieved overtime and 3 to 6 months after the procedure due to the collagen remodelling phase.

FAQ

How do I know if I am suitable for Endolift? During a consultation with our surgeon, you will discuss the areas of skin laxity that concern you and whether Endolift® is the best treatment option for you.

This procedure is ideal for patients in their mid-30s to early 50s, who have mild to moderate skin laxity.

If you are pregnant or currently breastfeeding you will not be suitable for an Endolift® treatment and will need to await the period of weaning your child, before we can embark on a treatment plan.
What can I expect to happen during treatment? Endolift® treatments are carried out at our London based clinic.

Treatment can be performed under local anaesthesia or light sedation. You can discuss your preference with our surgeon and decide on the appropriate choice.

On the day of the treatment, a thin hair-like micro-fibre is inserted under the skin circumventing the treated area, allowing the laser beam tip to boost skin restructuring and to reduce cutaneous laxity.

The duration of the procedure depends on how many parts of the face (or body) are treated, starting from 5 minutes for one part of the face, up to half an hour for the entire face.

As there is no recovery time required, it is possible to return to normal activities within a few hours.
.
How many treatments will I need? The Endolift® procedure requires one treatment session but can be repeated once more in the duration of a year depending on the specific patient’s needs.

Does It hurt? Endolift® is a minimally afflictive procedure that usually does not require any anaesthesia. It can, however, be performed under local anaesthesia administered to avoid discomfort. The process of placing the anaesthesia can be a little uncomfortable for some people.

For those who prefer it, or are especially sensitive to pain, The Endolift® can also be performed under sedation.
What are the possible side effects? Immediately after the procedure, still under local anaesthesia, you will experience no discomfort; As the anaesthesia wears off, any further pain can be managed with over-the-counter pain medication.
you can expect to swell after the Endolift® treatment, usually resolved within hours post-treatment.

What Endolift results can I expect? Skin tightening and fat reduction prompted by the Endolift® procedure are immediately visible but significantly improve during the months following the procedure.

As additional collagen builds in the deep layers of the skin the results are best evaluated after 6 months of the procedure.

Normally only one treatment session is required to achieve the desired results, however as with all minimal-invasive procedures, the response and the duration of the effect depends on the individual patient. therefore, if necessary, the Endolift® procedure can be safely repeated within a timeframe of a year.

How long will the results last? Results are long-lasting, although dependent on lifestyle and the natural ageing process. Results are expected to last between 2 to 3 years, and the procedure can be repeated after 1 year.
How much does Endolift cost? Endolift is priced by area. Price for 1 area is £2,200, 2 areas are £3,300 and £3 areas are £4,400. During your consultation, our doctor advises how many areas will be required.
